Ongoing Work from The Studio of Paul Mullowney, and Mullowney Printing, San Francisco, California
New Studio at 931 Treat Avenue
September first marked the first year anniversary of moving into a new location in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District. 931 Treat is a 1400 square-foot facility where we are now set up for etching, photogravure, silkscreen, and letterpress.
2012 saw the publication of Sandow Birk's Monument to the Constitution, (pictured above, in progress), a major direct gravure etching in nine panels on handmade Japanese paper.
Workshops and exhibitions will be coming soon.

Sunday Nights
Sunday evenings we are hosting open studio nights from 6:00 to 9:00. Inspired by the great California conceptual artist Tom Marioni's three-decade long Wednesday night performance piece, "The Act of Drinking Beer with Friends is the Highest Form of Art"--we just get together and hang out. Last Sunday Connie Adams posed in front of my large wood block, A Study in Headlessness; and Javier Martinez and Esmeralda Padilla were on hand for the screening of Javier and Vinnie's new movie.
