New Studio at 931 Treat Avenue



September first marked the first year anniversary of moving into a new location in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District. 931 Treat is a 1400 square-foot facility where we are now set up for etching, photogravure, silkscreen, and letterpress.

2012 saw the publication of Sandow Birk's Monument to the Constitution, (pictured above, in progress), a major direct gravure etching in nine panels on handmade Japanese paper.

Workshops and exhibitions will be coming soon.

Salon Nights Continue in the Corner Gallery

I am hosting weekly salon nights where students are invited to show their work in an informal setting. Starting at 6:00 p.m.


Wednesday, April 20th:


Patrick Cruzan, BFA 2010, will show new photographs.

Rebecca Peel, PNCA student in her junior year, will be presenting new prints.

Ruta Ruta Perzynska, MFA candidate, 2011, will show video work.


Tuesday April 26th


Please join us in welcoming visiting Focus Week artist in the printmaking department, Favianna Rodriguez.

Recent print work will be shown by Jeremy Smania and Corinne Teed, with music by Andre Filipek.
